I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah and her family earlier this year in February, thanks to an introduction from one of my lender partners. At the time, she was in the early stages of exploring a big dream: finding a home where she and her parents could all live together under one roof. With no set timeline and many unknowns ahead, we set out on the journey—and I’m thrilled to share that this summer, that dream became a reality as Sarah and her family made the move from Rochester to Raymond.

From our very first meeting, Sarah made a lasting impression. Living independently with her two pups, she had lovingly transformed her Rochester cape—purchased in 2017—into a truly special home. She poured so much heart, time, and care into updating and personalizing every detail. Letting go of such a meaningful space is never easy, and it was an honor to be part of that transition.

Together, we explored a variety of possibilities—new construction, land to build on, and existing homes—while simultaneously preparing her Rochester property for the market. We connected with builders, reviewed layouts, gathered quotes, and kept a close eye on listings that might meet her family’s needs.

Then, the right home appeared—a beautiful colonial in Raymond with a separate in-law space that fit their vision perfectly. We acted quickly, listing Sarah’s home and securing strong interest immediately with multiple offers coming to the table. With strategic planning, constant communication, and a competitive offer, we were able to get her Rochester home under contract while simultaneously securing the new property for her family.

In a seamless and exciting closing, Sarah sold her Rochester home and purchased the new one in Raymond—all on the same day. Now, she, her parents, and their beloved pups are settling into their next chapter under one roof, already diving into new projects and making this new space their own.
