The New Hampshire Spring Market Is Waking Up
The New Hampshire Spring Market Is Waking Up
We are officially seeing the early stages of the spring market.
Inventory across much of New Hampshire remains lower than historical norms, especially in towns like Concord, Bow, Hopkinton, and surrounding commuter areas. While more homes are coming on compared to January and early February, supply is still tight enough that well-priced, well-prepared homes are attracting strong attention.
Here are a few trends we’re noticing:
- Homes that are turnkey and properly priced are still moving quickly.
- Properties under $600,000 continue to see the most competition.
- Buyers are serious — many have been watching the market all winter and are ready to act.
- Open house traffic is increasing compared to earlier this winter.
What this means for sellers:
Listing in March or early April can be strategic. You’re hitting the market as buyer activity increases — but before inventory peaks later in May and June. Less competition often means stronger positioning.
What this means for buyers:
Competition is building, but we are not yet at peak spring intensity. Buyers who are pre-approved, clear on their budget, and ready to make decisions are in a strong position right now.
The biggest advantage this time of year? Preparation.
